We at CG sporthorses were very excited when we purchased both Anika G and her dam Mirthe from Goshka Stud (located in France).
She is both homozygous for the tobiano pinto gene, and carries the sabino gene...a trait not commonly seen in U.S. bred pinto warmbloods.
As you may be able to tell, Anika also has one and a half blue eyes!
Better yet, underneath all that pretty color is an exceptionally well bred sport horse. Her pedigree includes Purioso, Wanda (Samber's full sister), Ferro, Ed King Hill and Burggraaf; who are all in her fourth generation (great-grandparents)
Our hopes are that Anika G will bring new depth and dimension to our pinto sporthorse breeding program.
